20-Minute Body Scan Meditation

Learning how to eat intuitively, honor your hunger, engage in mindful and joyful movement, and truly listen to, and experience your own body can feel like hard work if you always feel like your body is a machine, and your brain is simply the operator. 

This 20-minute Body Scan Meditation is designed to help you connect to your body, from the outer most physical layer, to the inner most emotional layer. Throughout this meditation you will simply notice the physical and emotional sensations you are experiencing, without judgement, while always returning to the soothing rhythm of the breath. 

You can do this meditation at anytime, but it is especially helpful to do this before and/or after a movement practice, or simply as a way to start your day and connect to your body.
